加藤清正公像 STATUE OF KATOU KIYOMASA

The statue of Kato Kiyomasa wears a suit of armor with a tall black hat, and stands in front of the castle that built by him in Sengoku period. The heroic standing pose is like a commander in a battlefield and sending the message that have to defense Kumamoto castle to the last minute. The statue is 7m tall, and the view with Kumamoto Castle is the most recommended to the photographers. 。

城見の水 SHIROMI NO MIZU

It is located inside the city hall. You can drink the mineral water with a button and the drinking area is available.

THE 14TH FLOOR PLATFORM IN CITY HALL

The “Dinning Café Aya ”, the customers can observe the Kumamoto Castle and Honmarugoten with enjoying their food, drinks and meals. It offers another way to enjoy the view.
