加藤清正公像 STATUE OF KATOU KIYOMASA
The statue of KatoKiyomasa wears a suit of armor with a tall black hat, and stands in front of the castle that built by him in Sengoku period. The heroic standing pose is like a commander in a battlefield and sending the message that have to defense Kumamoto castle to the last minute.
The statue is 7m tall, and the view with Kumamoto Castle is the most recommended to the photographers.
長塀通 NAGABEI STREET
Walking on the Miyukizaka along with the statue of Kato Kiyomasa and Tsuboi river to Kumamoto city hall, you can see the boundary wall with its color impacts and tallness.
Green from trees and the black /white from wall become an excellent comparison and great view.
The scenes with cherry blossom in spring or the lantern drafting on Tsuboi river in Autumn are fascinated.
