Torigoe touge no chaya
Chaya was located behind the bamboo forest. It had disintegrated 1935 (S.W 10), but now the hanging billboard still exists. Chaya is reconstructed in 1989( H.S 1), April and it still remains the old fashion and the way it was. Chaya included museum, rest area and store which provides dango soup (Japanese traditional cuisines), manju (Japanese traditional sweet) and local vegetables.

Yuusuimae toilet (yuusuimae restroom)
The terraced rice fields in the Taishoujin district is famous for photographers in Kumamoto City. In June, the fields before harvesting look like a mirror on the ground. When the time comes to harvesting season in Autumn, the rice with heavy ears in golden color plays great harmony with flowers in the riverside.
Iwatonosato Park, Reigandou Café "KOKOPELLI"
Inside the Reigandou cave and the IwatoKannnon, which is located under the Iwatonosato Park. In his last 5 years lived in Kumamoto, Miyamoto Musashi had written about the cave in "The book of five rings". Near the cave, the temple is called Unganzen temple, has also known as the 14th spirit field in Kyushu Saigoku.

Kinpoumorinoeki michikusakan
Mt.Kinpouzan linked the great writer, Soseki Natsume and great swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi. The information center shows that the history, culture and local harvests in this area. It also provides the multi-functional rest room with warm water shower toilet and it is suitable the senior or disable. The place is the paradise for wild birds and plants. In early summer, you can find the fireflies/lightning bugs easily.
